The Mitchell PTO helps make that happen by funding enriching, inclusive, and joyful experiences for students, families, and teachers all year long.
How We Support Mitchell in 2025-2026
Field Trips for Every Grade
We cover field trip costs for all students, from Young 5s through 5th grade, so every child can participate and explore.

Teacher Grants for Every Classroom
Every teacher receives funds to create hands-on, creative classroom experiences.
- $10,525 annually
Community-Building Events
We host Welcome Back Popsicles, International Night, Field Day, and our annual Ice Cream Social to bring families together and celebrate our community.

5th Grade Camp & Graduation
We ensure every 5th grader can attend camp and be celebrated at graduation, regardless of family finances.
- $9,000 annually
Teacher & Staff Appreciation
We show our love through meals, gifts, and celebrations throughout the year.
- $6,500 annually
STEM Opportunities
We support Science Olympiad and PLTW robotics fees, giving students the chance to learn, compete, and grow.

Arts & Music Enrichment
We provide items like recorders for all 4th-grade students to enhance their arts education.
- $400 annually
Martha’s Closet
We stock emergency clothes and hygiene items so every student feels comfortable and cared for.
